Job summary

Children’s Minnesota is seeking a dedicated food service professional to prepare and serve meals for patients, staff and visitors in a pediatric hospital setting.

You will follow sanitation guidelines, operate kitchen equipment, and assist with dishwashing and grill service while ensuring meals meet age and developmentally appropriate needs. A ServSafe certification within 60 days of hire is required, with 1–2 years of related dietary experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a ServSafe Manager or ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Must have previous dietary experience and a minimum of 1 year of related food service experience, but prefer 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food for patients, staff, and customers while maintaining sanitation guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment and perform dishwashing, grill service and general cleaning.
• Ensure meals for patients are age and developmentally appropriate.
