Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse for a Denver assignment. The role is a day/12-hour shift PICU RN with a 13-week contract starting 10/26/2026, onsite at a Denver, CO hospital.

Must have a minimum of 1 year PICU RN experience, and BLS & PALS certification. EMR using Meditech is in place; unit has 20 beds with 1:2–1:1 patient ratios and standard pediatric critical care equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PICU RN experience.
• BLS & PALS certification required.
• Flexible, team-oriented approach.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pediatric patients in PICU (unit 20 beds).
• Administer medications and monitor clinical status including respiratory support.
• Perform central line maintenance and other critical care tasks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.

• Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Minimum 1-year current PICU RN experience
• BLS & PALS
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Post op cardiac experience
• Venous puncture
