Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care RN for a 26-week travel/contract assignment in the Phoenix area. Float between PICU, NICU, and CVICU across multiple Phoenix locations.

Requires 2+ years in pediatric critical care, AZ RN license or compact license with multistate privileges, and BLS/PALS/NRP certifications. 36 hours weekly guaranteed, with pay up to $3,200 per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years RN experience in Pediatric Critical Care.
• Current Arizona RN license, or compact license with multi-state privileges, or ability to obtain AZ licensure before start date.
• AHA BLS, AHA PALS, and Advanced NRP certifications.
• ADN/BSN or Nursing Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients according to age, condition, and plan of care.
• Provide evidence-based pediatric critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Provide care for patients requiring complex monitoring and critical-care interventions.
• Support pediatric patients and their families throughout the care process.
• Float between PICU, NICU, and CVICU as assigned.
• Follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient-safety standards.

Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN – Contract

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Shift: Days 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Pay: upto $3200/week

OT: Approximately $96/hour

Job Type: Travel/Contract RN

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 26-week contract assignment with Phoenix Children’s Critical Care Float Pool.

This position requires the ability and willingness to float between PICU, NICU, and CVICU based on patient and staffing needs. The assignment may cover multiple Phoenix Children’s locations:

• Phoenix – Main Campus
• Glendale – Arrowhead
• Gilbert – East Valley

Required Qualifications
