Job summary

Children's National Rehabilitation and Specialized Care Center (RSC) seeks an Inpatient Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services for infants, children, and adolescents with complex medical needs in the Washington, DC area.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and work with physicians, nurses, and therapists to support mobility, safety, and functional independence across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• One year of experience in physical therapy.
• Current or eligible for DC Physical Therapy license; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and document results with patient/family interview, background review, objective measures, and findings.
• Discuss evaluation results with patient/caregiver and healthcare team; respond to questions.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans; identify discharge planning needs and necessary referrals.
