Job summary
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CDH Pediatrics unit on the night shift. The role requires a BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and BLS certification. Qualifications
- BSN required; RN license in Illinois.
- BLS certification required (AHA).

- ADN acceptable if BSN commitment within 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, and develops an individualized care plan.
- Directs care and assigns appropriate tasks to assistants involved in direct patient care.
- Collaborates with patient, family, physicians, and staff; documents care plans and communications.
- Participates in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
- Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates the care plan accordingly.
- Utilizes evidence-based practice to guide nursing decisions.
