Northeast Valley Health Corporation seeks a pediatric clinician leader to provide medical direction and direct patient care within the NEVHC pediatrics program.

You will spearhead pediatric initiatives aligned with Bright Futures, collaborate with the program manager and Medical Director, maintain clinical skills, navigate EHR systems, and mentor staff while ensuring compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical school with M.D./D.O. and complete internship/residency.
• Board eligible or Board Certified.
• Current California medical/licensing requirements and Furnishing Number or applicable license.
• Knowledge of NEVHC pediatric initiatives and practices.
• Proficient in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Spearheads projects aligning NEVHC pediatrics with Bright Futures and external requirements.
• Collaborates with pediatric clinicians to present cases at monthly provider meetings.
• Keeps updated with guidelines from relevant pediatric bodies and implements as feasible.
• Seeks grants and study opportunities aligned with pediatric initiatives.
• Maintains clinical skills through ongoing training and policy knowledge.
• Maintains knowledge of NEVHC policies and interprets them for staff.
• Researches data, prepares reports for project teams and medical director.
• Practices pediatrics with duties per job description.
