Job summary

Northeast Valley Health Corporation is seeking a Pediatric Initiative Clinical Champion (MD/NP/PA) to lead and innovate pediatric projects at the Maclay Corporate Office in San Fernando, CA. This 20% FTE, part-time role focuses on aligning NEVHC pediatrics with best practices and external requirements.

The position reports to the Medical Director of Pediatrics and requires licensure in California, board eligibility/ certification, and strong communication, leadership, and EHR skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved medical school with an MD/DO, or NP program with NP degree, or PA program with PA degree.
• Board eligible or Board Certified.
• Current California medical licenses as applicable.
• Strong English literacy and professional communication.
• Ability to use MS Office and EHR systems.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead pediatric initiatives aligned with AAP Bright Futures and other requirements.
• Collaborate with department staff and Medical Director to design workflows.
• Present cases or articles at provider meetings.
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders.
• Seek grants or study opportunities relevant to pediatrics.
