Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Ambulatory Nursing team at the Pediatric Infusion Center. The center administers chemotherapy, transfusions, IVIG, and supportive care across hematology/oncology and related specialties.

Two 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with some weekend and holiday requirements. Oncology experience and pediatric proficiency strongly preferred; BLS current, PALS after hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred; pediatric experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification; PALS to be obtained after hire.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Proficiency in IV and central line access and management.
• APHON chemotherapy/biotherapy provider status prior to or after hire.
• CPHON certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic patient environment and deliver high-quality care across the continuum.
