Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a part-time BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases physician to join the faculty at the downtown campus. The role focuses on providing direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings at 0.5 FTE and supporting antimicrobial stewardship and infection control initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases completed or in progress.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
• Illinois medical license eligibility.
• Willing to travel between clinical locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings at 0.5 FTE.
• Liaise with local public health entities and Infection Control team.
• Teach medical students and residents in pediatric infectious diseases.
• Participate in didactic sessions, lectures, and case conferences.
• Pursue research collaborations and scholarly activities.
