Qualifikationen

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric infectious diseases fellowship, or expected completion by start date.
• Board certified or board eligible in General Pediatrics (ABP or AOBP).
• Board eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, with ABP window for certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical inpatient and outpatient services for patients.
• Teach medical students and residents.
• Conduct clinical and translational research in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• Participate in infection prevention and antibiotic stewardship committees.
• Provide phone consultations for hospitals and pediatric offices in Illinois.
• Guide community outbreak responses (e.g., measles, TB).
• Fulfill faculty duties including patient care, teaching, research, and scholarly activities.
