Ascension's Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to join our growing division, with an academic appointment at Dell Medical School. You will provide outpatient and inpatient ID care, collaborate across teams, and participate in antimicrobial stewardship and research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• Experience in immunocompromised and transplant medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consultation, infusion services and international travel services in outpatient ID clinic.
• Inpatient service consultations across general pediatrics, PICU, NICU and CCU.
• Collaborate with teams caring for immunocompromised patients including Hematology/Oncology, Nephrology and Cardiovascular.
• Lead antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and evidence-based outcomes committees.
• Academic appointment through Dell Medical School at UT Austin.
• Research opportunities in invasive fungal infections, diagnostic stewardship and related areas.
