Job summary

Ascension's Dell Children's Medical Center, in partnership with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to join our growing division. The role offers a faculty appointment at Dell Medical School at UT Austin.

You will provide outpatient and inpatient consultations, collaborate with teams caring for immunocompromised patients, and participate in antimicrobial stewardship and infection control.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• MD or DO required with Texas licensure before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient infectious disease consultations and infusion services.
• Inpatient service consultation across PICU, NICU, and general pediatric units.
• Collaborate with teams treating immunocompromised patients (Hematology/Oncology, Nephrology, Cardiovascular).
• Lead or participate in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, and outcomes committees.
• Academic appointment through Dell Medical School at UT Austin.
