Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist I to provide direct pediatric respiratory care in a full-time role. You will work nights to support respiratory therapies, ventilator management, and patient education under physician orders.

The position offers a sign-on bonus eligibility, 36 hours per week, and a collaborative team in a state-of-the-art pediatric ICU setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• RRT credential required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in NC; BLS required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and adjust respiratory therapies with high autonomy.
• Independently adjust ventilator settings and oxygenation strategies.
• Implement weaning protocols and optimize outcomes using critical thinking.
• Maintain precise documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with intensivists, neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide care in a pediatric ICU environment with therapist-driven protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and education.
