Job summary

Corewell Health in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 5S Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. You will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients and coordinate family-centered care in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, collaborating with the care team, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care during the night shift (7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.).

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for new graduates or those with less than one year experience.
• Graduates from non-accredited nursing programs must have at least one year acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must pass the NCLEX.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements upon hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Deliver patient/family centered care and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Leader and care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
