Qualifications

• Associate Degree - Respiratory Therapy.
• RT license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (within six months).

Responsibilities

• Provides primary respiratory care to patients from admission through discharge under a physician's order.
• Communicates patient and departmental information verbally or in writing in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Documents accurate, complete patient care data according to policy and procedure guidelines.
• Ensures safe, cost-effective operation of equipment and adherence to infection control techniques across areas.
