Job summary

Shriners Children’s Ohio is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our pediatric ICU team on a per diem night schedule. You will provide primary respiratory care under physician orders and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy, RT licensure, and BLS; PALS within six months. 2+ years pediatric ICU experience is preferred. Compensation is based on experience and equity across the department.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensure as RT in state of practice is required.
• 2+ years ICU pediatric respiratory therapy experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary respiratory care from admission to discharge per physician orders.
• Communicate patient and department information during rounds and handoffs.
• Document accurate patient care data according to policy.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and follow infection control practices.
