Northwestern Medicine in Winfield, IL is seeking an Administrative Tech to support reception, clerical, and medical record tasks while assisting with basic patient care under RN supervision. You will help communicate with patients and families and coordinate with care teams.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe environment, following infection control guidelines, and assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes as needed.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current student in Medical Assistant, EMT-B, CNA, or Patient Care Tech.
• CPR – Basic Life Support.

Responsabilidades

• Performs unit-based reception, clerical, and medical record functions.
• Provides basic nursing care and assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment under RN supervision.
• Communicates with patients, families, and staff to coordinate care.
• Assists with patient admission, ambulation, and discharge/transfer preparation.
• Adheres to infection control policies and standard precautions.
• Supports maintaining patient rooms and restocking as directed.
• Acts as liaison between care units and other departments.
