Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team at Ohio Health - a leading medical facility in Athens, OH.

Responsibilities

1. Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
2. The team will consist of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists
3. 24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from home
4. Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circs
5. Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.
6. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
7. Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): Participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.
8. Knowledge Exchange: Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.
