Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, with a focus on feeding and related speech-language concerns. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and potential supervision of interns if you have 3+ years of experience.

Texas license to practice SLP is required, along with a Master’s degree and CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

• Must have Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Current Texas license to practice SLP.
• Experience in pediatrics is required.
• Feeding experience is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21 years, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments and select appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and advise on speech therapy interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows and/or SLP assistants if 3+ years of experience.
