Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Pediatric Hematologist and Oncologist PRN (Per Required Need) to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Our program emphasizes family-centered care and offers both inpatient and outpatient services for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric hematology and oncology patients.
  • Manages the physician/patient relationship, working to assure patient and family satisfaction with care.
  • Participates in system-wide health management initiatives.
  • Provides input into the practice site's financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
  • Receives and resolves patient complaints.
  • Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.
  • Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.
