Job summary

The Educator in the department of Hearing and Speech will develop and coordinate staff orientation and training, coach, train and evaluate knowledge and skills of staff, and participate in staff selection. The Educator will lead quality improvement projects and in-house continuing education for the staff, and perform clinical duties including direct and indirect patient care for pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) credential required.
• Certified Speech and Language Pathologist preferred.
• 2 years of staff-level experience in audiology-speech field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate staff orientation and training.
• Coach, train and evaluate staff knowledge and skills.
• Participate in staff selection and hiring decisions.
• Lead quality improvement (QI) projects and in-house education.
