The Hong Kong Study Skills Research Institute is seeking a Pediatric Plastic/Hand Surgeon – Assistant Professor to join the University of Pennsylvania, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Responsibilities include building a hand surgery practice, instructing medical students and residents, and conducting clinical investigations in hand surgery.

Qualified candidates should hold an M.D. or equivalent degree, board certification in relevant surgery, and have experience specifically in hand surgery, preferably with a fellowship focus.

Qualifications

• M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in American Board of Plastic Surgery or American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
• Experience in hand surgery with microsurgery focus; hand surgery fellowship preferred.
• Ability to work in either Department of Surgery or Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Build a hand surgery practice; additional duties in plastic or orthopedic surgery depending on training.
• Clinical and didactic instruction of medical students, plastic and orthopedic surgery residents.
• Clinical and/or basic science investigations in plastic or orthopedic surgery, specifically hand surgery.
