Job summary

Akron Children's in Ohio is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven team of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners dedicated to advancing clinical, educational, and research missions.

The Division provides comprehensive care for GI, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders, with expertise in motility, aerodigestive conditions, IBD, and other complex digestive diseases.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology or eligibility.
• Ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for pediatric GI patients within a collaborative team.
• Educate and mentor pediatric residents, medical students and fellows.
• Contribute to the division's academic mission and research initiatives.
