Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven division of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners. The role supports clinical care, education, and research within a growing patient population.

Responsibilities include leading clinical care, mentoring residents and fellows, and contributing to the division's academic mission while ensuring excellent pediatric GI services across our Ohio campuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain an active Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric gastroenterology clinical care to patients.
• Educate and mentor pediatric residents, medical students, and gastroenterology fellows.
