Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative team of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners. You will contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research within the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, with opportunities for leadership and professional growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board-certified in pediatrics.
• Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology is required/expected.
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for children with gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional disorders.
• Engage in the Division's academic mission through education of residents, medical students and GI fellows.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance research and patient care.
