Phoenix Children's is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our Gastroenterology/Hepatology outpatient team in Phoenix. This full-time role partners with four providers to deliver family-centered care for children with GI conditions, coordinating care and educating families to manage health at home.

New graduates are not eligible; prior pediatric GI or complex GI experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with 4/10 or 5/8 options and about six weeks of paid training to support

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospital or outpatient clinic.
• Pediatric nursing experience required (2 years).
• Gastroenterology or GI care experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and care coordination skills.
• Passion for patient/family education and pediatric care.
• Flexible to cover other Phoenix Children's locations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments across age groups and conditions.
• Implement plans of care per policies and guidelines; educate patients and families.
• Coordinate care transitions within organization and community; partner with care team.
• Monitor patient status, document in medical records, and adjust plans as needed.
• Supervise and mentor team members; ensure safety and infection control.
• Contribute to learning environment through mentorship and training.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested.
