Job summary

Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Inc. is seeking a clinical nurse to support the GI/Hepatology Clinic. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of RN experience in hospital or clinic settings and experience with complex liver or gastro conditions.

The role focuses on coordinating care, educating families, and preventing unnecessary ER visits, with a schedule Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. You will work with hepatology/gastro providers, support patient health across the care continuum, and help

Qualifications

• Two year ADN/BSN or Diploma Nursing degree required.
• BSN preferred or RN to BSN.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Arizona RN license (or compact license) required before start date.
• Current BLS certification required.
• PALS/PEARS certification may be required within 90 days in some departments.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and families across age and condition, develop nursing care plans.
• Implement plans per policies and guidelines, educate patients and families.
• Coordinate care and transitions within the organization and community to prevent complications.
• Monitor care quality and support continuous improvement; document in medical records.
