Job summary

Nemours is seeking an RN II for the Gastroenterology Team in Jacksonville, FL. The RN II coordinates nursing care in partnership with the child and family, ensuring evidence-based care tailored to pediatric patients and their families.

The role involves program management, staff training, scheduling, and policy development in collaboration with leadership to meet program objectives. Florida licensure, BLS, and pediatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or currently enrolled in BSN program with required completion within 12 months of hire date.
• Florida RN license or compact license including FL
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, pediatric experience preferred
• BLS Certification required
• CPN preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for patients within a pediatric population, including phone triage, medication refills, and clinical care.
• Apply the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate care.
• Develops and manages activities of the assigned program with leadership oversight.
• Plan, develop, and implement goals and objectives of the program with leadership.
• Document and maintain records of program activities for evaluation.
• Provide leadership, staff education, and support to division nurses and physicians.
