Job summary

Nemours is seeking an RN II on the Complex Care team in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on delivering and coordinating pediatric nursing care tailored to each child and family, in partnership with community resources.

The RN II will lead program activities, supervise staff, train new team members, and manage day-to-day operations, while aligning with leadership to develop policies and procedures for program objectives.

Qualifications

• BSN required or enrolled with completion within 12 months.
• Florida RN license or compact license includes FL; BLS from American Heart Association.
• CPN preferred
• Minimum of one year healthcare experience; pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for a pediatric population.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, deliver and evaluate care.
• Develop and manage activities for the assigned program in collaboration with leadership.
• Plan, develop, and implement goals and objectives with leadership.
• Evaluate program objectives and adjust as needed.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings to ensure adherence to practices.
• Develop training and orientation programs for staff.
• Maintain records and documentation for program activities.
• Provide leadership and support to division nurses and physicians.
