Job summary

FMOL Health in Baton Rouge is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in an ambulatory clinic. You will assist physicians and nurses, coordinate patient flow, and support scheduling procedures and referrals.

You will adhere to clinical standards, perform routine nursing duties, document patient information, and promote safety and infection control in a fast-paced environment with a focus on compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Proficient in English, including verbal and written communication.
• Current Louisiana LPN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe, record and report patient conditions to physicians.
• Perform nursing duties: document history, vitals, immunizations.
• Coordinate care: schedule appointments, referrals, and patient flow.
• Prepare exam room and assist physician during exams and tests.
• Administer medications per nursing standards; may perform phlebotomy and EKG.
• Follow safety, infection control and quality standards.
• Assist with general patient care and provide compassionate service.
