UVA Health Children's seeks an APP to join a pediatric GI and GI-Allergy team, providing care for infants to adolescents with complex GI and allergic disorders. The role involves collaborative clinics with gastroenterologists, allergists, dietitians, nurses and other professionals, plus independent follow-up to improve access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master’s degree.
• Licensed or eligible as an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or PA) in Virginia.
• Current BLS; ACLS/PALS as required; credentialing and licensing maintained.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric GI and allergy-related conditions.
• Provide follow-up care in EoE, GI-Allergy, and General Pediatric Gastroenterology clinics.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and document in EMR.
