Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment required.
• 1+ years experience performing laboratory research preferred.
• Experience with cell culture and sterile technique; molecular biology skills (cloning, lentiviral generation) preferred.
• Follow wet lab protocols including Western blots, PCR, DNA/RNA extractions, CRISPR/Cas9, viability assays, and drug plating.
• Attention to detail and maintaining accurate records; ability to read scientific literature; curiosity and willingness to learn; strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, conducts routine laboratory research procedures.
• Follows protocol to perform experiments and tabulates data; may assist with analysis.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance and orders supplies.
• May provide instruction to support personnel.
