Job summary

UCLA Outpatient Clinics seeks a Staff Research Associate to support a molecular genetics focused neuroscience program. You will perform bench work across RNA/DNA analysis, single-cell library prep, immunohistochemistry and genomics in a dynamic lab.

Qualifications

• Experience in molecular analysis and basic lab techniques.
• Familiarity with tissue culture and handling of biological samples.
• Ability to assist with molecular cloning and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support in the research lab under supervision.
• Perform bench work including RNA/DNA analysis, library prep, immunohistochemistry and genomics.
• Maintain tissue culture, generate stable cell lines, neuronal cultures and iPSCs.
• Assist with data analysis, figures for grants/publications, and training of staff.
