Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Department of Surgery at the University of Washington invite applications for a faculty position at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor with a 12-month appointment beginning January 2027.

The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis with a base salary by rank and will contribute to research, teaching, and service within a diverse academic community.

Qualifications

• MD degree (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Board eligibility by the American Board of Surgery, inclusive of USMLE steps of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide full spectrum of general and thoracic pediatric surgical care.
• Lead and contribute to research, teaching, and service in a diverse academic community.
• Engage in leadership roles to advance the pediatric bariatric and metabolic surgery program.
• Participate in clinical, educational, and scholarly activities within the division.
