Inova Children’s is seeking an experienced Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing pediatric team on a full‑time basis. This role supports a nationally recognized children’s health system and contributes to the expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care in Northern Virginia.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Successful completion of pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia.
• BLS certification upon start.
• Ability to complete credentialing by third‑party payors and CMS enrollment.
• Credentialing for Medical Staff membership and privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric gastroenterology clinical care to newborns, children and adolescents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive pediatric care.
• Contribute to growth and expansion of specialty services within Inova Children’s.
• Participate in credentialing and sign‑on/relocation processes as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology
• Training: Successful completion of pediatric residency program and successful completion of ACGME‑accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third‑party payors and Ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
