Inova Children’s in Northern Virginia is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing pediatric team. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance as part of a comprehensive compensation package designed to reward clinical excellence and patient access.

Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital provides advanced care across 45 pediatric specialties with family-centered care, located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery residency.
• Completion of a pediatric orthopedic fellowship.
• Current Virginia medical license or eligibility.
• BLS certification on start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric orthopedic surgical services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams across pediatric specialties.
• Engage in clinical teaching and program development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification: board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
• Experience: successful completion of an ACGME accredited orthopedic surgery residency program and successful completion of a pediatric orthopedic fellowship.
• Licensure: current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Virginia.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
• Payer credentialing: ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third‑party payors and ability to be enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor.
• Medical staff credentialing: successful completion of credentialing for medical staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
