Job summary

Panda Pediatrics is a friendly pediatric clinic seeking a receptionist to manage the front desk and greet patients in Leander, TX. You will verify insurance, check patients in and out, and handle payments while delivering a warm, welcoming experience for families.

You will answer multi-line phone calls, schedule appointments, and document in the EMR system. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Previous receptionist experience preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish required.
• Excellent communication with a focus on customer service.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Familiar with computers and scheduling software.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients and families with a warm smile.
• Verify insurance prior to patient appointments.
• Check patients in and out.
• Discuss co-pays and fees with parents at time of service.
• Schedule patient appointments according to guidelines.
• Handle multiple phone lines simultaneously.
• Scan new patient charts and notes into EMR software.
• Keep waiting areas organized and clean.
• Manage office workflow and schedule.
• Balance charges and receipts daily.
• Computer skills include Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Provide general customer service throughout services.
