Job summary

Children's Wisconsin in Wisconsin is seeking a front desk team member to welcome patient families and serve as a liaison between families and the clinical team. This role reports to the Primary Care Practice Manager and collaborates with the Lead Clinic Coordinator for optimal outcomes.

You will handle scheduling with EPIC, registration, HIPAA compliance, and ensure accurate data entry while supporting other primary care locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED/HSED required.
• 1+ years related work experience.
• 1+ years work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to assist patients and staff.
• Strong concentration and ability to handle multiple calls.
• Flexible to prioritize patient needs and support other locations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patient families and liaison between families and the clinical team.
• Schedule appointments using EPIC; manage waitlists and cancellations.
• Register patients and guardians with MyChart.
• Secure release of information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Enter registration data accurately; verify demographics and insurance information.
• Adhere to Children's Organizational Code of Ethics and policies.
• Monitor WELL platform and respond in a timely, professional manner.
