Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Float Pool RN for McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple, TX. This full-time night position (36 hours per week) requires flexibility to float across pediatric units including Med Surg, ED, NICU, and PICU.

You will assess and plan care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support families through care transitions while maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with active Texas license.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between all Pediatric specialties and coordinate care.
• Assess patients and plan personalized care across Med Surg, ED, NICU, PICU.
• Educate families and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe patient transitions.
