Job summary

Children’s Minnesota in Minneapolis seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, using the nursing process.

This MNA contract position offers the opportunity to work across units with colleagues across the hospital, receiving competitive pay and benefits. Minnesota RN licensure and BLS are required, PEARS certification or orientation eligible, with additional certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Based upon the unit in which you are applying, additional certification(s) may be required.
• Department specific required qualifications need to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Current Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process.
• Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members.
