Job summary

Children’s Minnesota in Minneapolis is seeking a pediatric nurse for our critical care float team. You will coordinate and deliver family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents in collaboration with the health care team.

The role requires RN licensure in Minnesota, BLS, and pediatric-focused experience. A PALS certification is required or to be obtained during orientation. This is an MNA contract position with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year nursing experience in a hospital setting; pediatric experience preferred.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents.
• Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members.
• This is an MNA contract position.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Minnesota RN licensure

Current BLS certification

One year nursing experience in a hospital setting; pediatric experience preferred
