Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge, Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 34102 ACH Enterprise - Nursing Float Pool.

This full‑time position is 0.9 FTE with self‑Scheduled nights, 36 hours per week, and 12‑hour shifts; pay ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour.

The nurse will engage in governance and quality initiatives, use the nursing process, document in EHR, and ensure patient safety and effective teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where the client is located.
• BLS certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains thorough EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
