Job summary

Providence is seeking a Flight Paramedic for Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX. The role delivers urgent medical care in air and ground transport, with strong airway management as a core competency.

You will collaborate with physicians and facilities, follow policy, and participate in advanced treatments under Medical Director guidance. Ideal candidates have active EMT-P licenses in Texas, national BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and several years of flight or 911 service experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion and ongoing maintenance of a Department of State Health Services or National Registry approved Paramedic training program/certification/license.
• Current Texas EMT-Paramedic License and Texas Paramedic License.
• National Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Ability to drive as required and comply with state driving laws.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care for critically ill or injured patients in air or ground transport without supervision.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare facilities; follow Covenant Health System policies.
• Participate in advanced medical treatment modalities as directed by Medical Director and Specialty Transport leadership.
• Support ongoing education and training of current and future Flight Paramedics.
