Job summary

Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital invites applications for a Licensed Psychologist to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology Medicine's nationally recognized Feeding Clinic. The role focuses on outpatient pediatric feeding, serving ages 0–18, with a collaborative team including Speech, Nutrition, and GI specialists.

Candidates should have a PhD or PsyD in psychology and experience with feeding disorders, autism, and neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Psychologist with experience in pediatric populations.
  • Clinical background in feeding disorders or pediatric behavioral health.
  • Experience with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, esp. autism.
  • Comfort working in outpatient, interdisciplinary settings.
  • Ability to manage a steady daily caseload and coordinate care with families.
  • Interest in teaching, supervision, and mentoring trainees.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient assessment and treatment for pediatric feeding disorders (0–18).
  • Collaborate with Speech, Nutrition, and Pediatric GI teams.
  • Teach and mentor developmental residents and graduate students.
  • Engage in teaching, supervision, research and community outreach.
  • Supervise a master's level therapist and contribute to program development.
