Job summary

Pediatrics Plus in Central Arkansas is seeking a Family Relations Specialist to support families and children through collaboration, advocacy, and evidence-based therapies. You will guide families through referrals, insurance discussions, and scheduling evaluations.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working with children birth to age 21. A strong background in customer service and basic computer skills are important.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy healthcare setting.
• Experience with scheduling and insurance discussions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete the referral intake process and gather needed paperwork.
• Explain insurance benefits, discuss funding options, and schedule outpatient evaluations with parents.
• Schedule outpatient therapy and developmental preschool initial evaluations with parents.
• Communicate effectively with state agencies and on-site locations to ensure a smooth referral process.
• Collaborate and engage in team activities and events.
