Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the GCMG Pediatric Extended Care in Indian Trail, NC. The role supports pediatrics with 24 hours per week, typically 8a-8p on weekends, providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include an RN license with NC privileges, BLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. BSN preferred; strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in NC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in quality initiatives and applies evidence-based nursing practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure patient safety.
• May administer medications and therapies according to protocols.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
