Job summary
Boston Children's Hospital's Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a registered nurse with pediatric and emergency care experience to join a high-volume Level 1 trauma center. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience in inpatient acute or emergency medicine.
- Pediatric ED experience preferred or any acute pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with emergency physicians, nurses, mid-level providers and administrative staff is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are expected.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center with trauma-related, surgical and medical cases of varying acuity and complexity.
- Work 36-hour night shifts and every other weekend.
