Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for the ER Pediatric unit on the night shift. The role requires Pediatric ED or critical care experience, ASN or Nursing Diploma, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PALS is required with BSN preferred if pursued within five years.

Candidates should have strong communication, organizational skills, and good computer proficiency. TNCC and national certifications are preferred assets.

Qualifications

• Required: ASN or Nursing Diploma.
• PALS certification is required.
• 4–5 years of Pediatric ED RN or Pediatric Critical Care RN experience.
• BSN preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• National certification and TNCC preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and standards.
• Ensure safety and apply evidence-based practices throughout care.
• Supervise and direct task delegation to team members.
• Set priorities with measurable outcomes to improve care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and care planning.
