Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Level One Pediatric Trauma Emergency Department. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care for pediatric patients using the nursing process, ensuring safety and adherence to standards and policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of RN experience, current state RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months. Prior ED or critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience; this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
• ED or critical care experience preferred.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
