Join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute on the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus as an RN in the Weekender Flex program for Pediatric Epilepsy. This night-shift role supports a 15-bed unit, collaborating with a nurse practitioner team to deliver high-quality care for children with epilepsy.

You will care for patients, develop care plans, document responses, administer medications, and assist with discharge planning while expanding expertise in pediatric neurology.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Current state RN license and BLS certification.
• One year of acute care RN experience required.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred, epilepsy/neurology exposure ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric epilepsy patients and complex cases.
• Develop and update patient care plans with the team.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Follow physician and nursing orders and coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with discharge planning and family education.
• Build knowledge in epilepsy and neuro-nursing care.
• Collaborate with the nurse practitioner team for around-the-clock support.
